Welcome to Homies.lk! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Homies.lk website (the “Service”). By accessing, browsing, or making a purchase through our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all policies referenced herein. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Service.

  1. Your Agreement to These Terms

By using Homies.lk, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or are accessing the site under the supervision of a parent or guardian. You also agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding your use of the Service.

  1. Products and Orders

Homies.lk is your destination for water-related products, specializing in our unique tap-attachable water filters.

  • Product Descriptions: We strive to ensure that all product descriptions, images, and pricing information on our Service are accurate and up-to-date. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content are error-free, complete, or current. Colors and sizes may vary slightly due to monitor settings and manufacturing variations.
  • Pricing: All prices displayed on Homies.lk are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are subject to change without prior notice. The price charged for a product will be the price in effect at the time your order is placed.
  • Order Acceptance: Your order constitutes an offer to purchase a product from us. All orders are subject to acceptance by Homies.lk. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or issues with payment verification. If we cancel your order after your payment has been processed, we will issue a full refund.
  • Component Compatibility: Please note that our Homies product is designed to fit specific component types. We strongly advise you to check your component to ensure it falls within our given tap conditions before making a purchase. We do not accept returns for incompatibility.
  • Reselling: The resale of our products is strictly prohibited. As the sole authorized seller online and retail, we have a network of official dealers to ensure product quality and authenticity. Any purchase of our products is intended for personal, non-commercial use only. We reserve the right to cancel any order from individuals or entities we suspect are purchasing for resale.
  • Subscription Policy: By subscribing to our service, you agree to abide by all our Terms and Conditions. Your subscription is subject to these terms from the moment of purchase. You have the right to cancel your subscription at any time. However, to avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must initiate the cancellation before your upcoming payment date. All subscription fees are non-refundable. No refunds or credits will be issued for any unused portion of a subscription plan, including in the event of a cancellation.
  • International Shipping: All international shipping fees are the sole responsibility of the customer. Delivery charges and delivery duration may vary based on the shipping method selected by the customer and the destination country. Our responsibility for the shipment of your order concludes once the package is handed over to the selected delivery partner. Any issues that arise during the delivery process, such as delays, loss, or damage, must be managed directly with the delivery partner. We are not responsible for delivery-related issues once the order is in transit.
  1. Payment Terms

We offer convenient payment options for your purchases:

  • Cash on Delivery (COD): Please ensure the exact amount is ready at the time of delivery.
  • Online Card Payments: Securely processed through trusted third-party payment gateways. Your payment information is not stored directly by Homies.lk.
  • Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) Services: We may partner with third-party providers to offer BNPL services. Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.

By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the designated payment method and authorize us (or our third-party payment processor) to charge your payment method for the total amount of your order.

  1. Delivery Policy

We aim to deliver your water filters to you efficiently and safely.

  • Delivery Timeframe: We aim to deliver your order within 2 to 5 working days from the date of order confirmation. Please note that delivery times may vary slightly depending on your location within Sri Lanka and unforeseen circumstances.
  • Delivery Charges: All Homies products are 100% delivery free. But when you return and/or request another item, applicable delivery charges will be calculated based on your location and order value.
  • Delivery Process: Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a notification. Our delivery partners will contact you prior to delivery. It is your responsibility to ensure accurate delivery details are provided and to be available to receive the order.
  1. Returns and Exchanges Policy

Your satisfaction is important to us.

  • No Returns for Change of Mind or Incompatibility: Please note that we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or if the filter does not fit your tap. All sales are final unless there is a verified defect or damage during delivery.
  • Damages During Delivery: If there is any damage during the delivery process, we will consider a replacement. You must inform us within 48 hours of receiving the product and return the damaged item within 3 days of receiving it.
  • Replacement Only: For eligible returns due to transit damage, we will replace the product with a new one. We do not offer cash refunds.

Your privacy is paramount to us. Our Privacy Policy outlines how Homies.lk collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information. By using our Service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy. We encourage you to read it carefully.

  1. Intellectual Property

The content, design, logos, trademarks, text, graphics, and all other materials on the Homies.lk website are the exclusive property of Homies.lk and are protected by Sri Lankan and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

  1. Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability

The Service and all products delivered to you through the Service are provided “as is” and “as available.” In no case shall Homies.lk, its directors, officers, or employees be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or any products procured using the Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Homies.lk and its affiliates from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms.

These Terms and any separate agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka.
